The International Conference on Critical (Information) Infrastructures Security – CRITIS celebrates its 12th anniversary. The last conference was held in UIC HQ – Paris from 10 – 12 October 2016 and the next one will take place from 9 – 13 October 2017 in Lucca Italy.
CRITIS brings together scientists, experts, policy makers and professionals from academia, industry and governmental organisations engaged in the field of the critical infrastructural protection (CIP).
CRITIS provides a bridge for the different research communities and it represents a unique occasion to strengthen or create consortia for future Project Proposals.

Some reasons to participate
Outstanding Keynote Speakers will present the most advanced activities in Phenomenological Simulation and Modelling; Cyber Security; Interdependence in Large technological Areas and more.
20 Scientific Oral Contributions will span several themes: Cyber Security; Human Factors; Transport; Emergency Management; Urban Resilience; Trust and Information Sharing; Methods, Analyses & Models and more.
Project Dissemination Session. Project Leaders will have the opportunity to present the state of art and advances of their projects and advertise their activity in suitable spaces.
Posters Dinner Session. Posters will be exhibited in the San Francesco’s cloister in a “convivial” format. CRITIS participants will have a light dinner while discussing the poster contents with the authors. The Best Poster will be awarded a Tablet.
YCA: Young Critis Award. A session will be devoted to Young Talents. Three selected finalists will present their works so that the audience and an academic committee will evaluate and award the winner.
Two workshops on Water and Energy are planned for Thursday, Oct 12th and Friday, 13th respectively.
Making a jump in the past: Lucca is a magnificent Renaissance city of Tuscany. With almost intact walls. Food is delicious and Puccini and Verdi are represented daily. October is especially mild in Tuscany.
