Her hotel career with InterContinental, Westin and Swissotel spanned sales, catering, operations and systems from the property to the international corporate office. As a hospitality technology consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, she worked for cruise lines, hotel companies, technology vendors and the US government. As the director of product strategy for Newmarket International, a software development firm that creates applications for the hotel industry, she oversaw product management and new product development. As executive director of the OpenTravel, Ms. Perini oversees the operations of the organization, including developing and executing strategies to reach the goal of standardizing electronic distribution of traveler information in the travel industry.

Mr Lutz is currently Senior Advisor eCommerce at the UIC and brings with him 20 years’ experience in information exchange for the railway sector. He was responsible for developing industry standards for data exchange, including establishing the mandatory electronic waybill data exchange system in North America. He served as Chairman of the X12 Technical Assessment Committee for 8 years as well as participating as a technical expert on the UN/EDIFACT Transportation Committee. Additionally, Mr. Lutz served as a consultant specialising in information integration between Railways and their customers using XML interfaces. His current responsibilities are in the Standardisation domain, inter-enterprise messaging for Railway applications and the TSI TSI Technical Specifications for Interoperability -TAF TAF Telematic Applications for Freight Project Team.

As Assistant Chief of Transportation and then Chief of Service Delivery he had corporate responsibility for transportation systems, customer service, planning, and new technology. He also spent four years doing international consulting including projects for DB Cargo and the European Commission.

Martin Blau has been working for Deutsche Bahn AG within the freight business, when in 1985 he started participating in the bi- and multilateral UIC activities, to standardise the data exchange between the Railway Undertakings. Meanwhile he has become the chairman of the working group (GRU) pursuing these items. Since 1990 he is deputised to the special group RAILDATA, developing, maintaining and operating under the umbrella of the UIC freight business applications like the exchange of consignment note and wagon status data. The goal now is to link both information and to establish processes to be able to run the transports paperless.

From 2004 Mr Garnier has been working with SNCF on the foundation of a subsidiary company CRMServices. My name is Takeshi Saito.
Takeshi Saito has been working for JR East Japan Information Systems Company (JEIS), which is a 100% subsidiary company of East Japan Railway Company (EJRC), since he graduated from a university in 2004.
Mr Siato joined the project for the development of the “PASMO system”an automatic railway & bus fare collection system using the PASMO contact-less smart IC-card. PASMO was successfully introduced on the private railways of the Tokyo metropolitan area in March 2007, and PASMO cards are interchangeable with Suica. (Suica is EJRC smart IC-card fare collection system, in use since Nov. 2001.)
He currently works on the development of the Automatic charge of PASMO system. (When the stored fare (SF) on a PASMO card is low, a specified amount of SF will be added to the PASMO card at an automatic fare-gate if a credit card has been linked to the PASMO card.)
