The SPG is a unique opportunity to share your expertise and experience, talk about practices with safety professionals from around the world, and contribute to a common vision for comprehensive, consistent and harmonised railway safety reporting. Together, we aim to reinforce the UIC Safety Database, extend its global coverage, and develop common approaches and definitions that make safety data more meaningful and comparable across networks.
Another one of the SPG’s goals is innovation. The group is interested in new technologies transforming safety data collection, analysis and reporting, including artificial intelligence and other emerging digital tools. Share your experience, ideas and the practices you are exploring within your organisation, and discover what others are doing around the world.
