Jorge Bernabeu

Dr. Eng. Jorge Bernabeu is a Master Civil Engineer (1996) with a Ph D in the same field (2004) and works as a Lecturer at the Technical School for Civil Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid in the subjects of Art and Aesthetics of Engineering and Landscape in Civil Engineering. As a project manager at IDOM, he has developed numerous transports infrastructure projects among which are several railway stations: Atocha intermodal station in Madrid, Valencia Joaquin Sorolla Station, Tarragona-Reus Central Station, New North Station in San Sebastian, San Cristóbal intermodal station in A Coruña. He has worked in projects in a variety of countries such as Great Britain, Slovenia, Macedonia, Morocco, Algeria and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is furthermore the author of publications and research projects on the history of construction, the landscape and the heritage value of public works.
