Development on intermodal transport hubs in the 21st century metropolis-the Greater Paris example

Andreas HEYM is highly experienced in the creative process of designing public places, public buildings and intermodal transport terminals and their integration in the surroundings. In his design work he has chosen to focus on accessibility, functional layout and the corresponding volumes and structures and, as a result, has acquired particular knowledge of the design and development of complex spaces and urban environments.

Since 2006 he is Director of International Development at AREP Ville, a subsidiary of French National Railways (SNCF) for architecture, urban planning, engineering and design. His main focus is the development of projects for European and Russian clients and partners, while keeping a keen interest in the future of high-speed rail in the Americas.
