Germany: DB Rail Academy launches Open Programme

DB Rail Academy is the international, external training provider of Deutsche Bahn AG and was founded in 2017 with the objective of meeting individual needs for high-quality training and education worldwide. In view of the rapidly increasing worldwide demand for international training, the customers rely on the experience gained from 180 years of successful rail business with Deutsche Bahn.

DB Rail Academy’s mission is to inspire, enable and improve in order to deliver a sustainable and improved railway for the world of tomorrow. For this reason, DB Rail Academy is launching its open course programme online. Experts and newcomers can book training courses for themselves as a private person or for their company easily and conveniently. The courses range from short free learning nuggets, online courses such as webinars as well as classroom trainings in different regions of the world.

The portfolio includes a selection of courses in all relevant areas of transportation: Railway System, Rolling Stock, Infrastructure, Operations, Quality Management, Safety/Security and Rail Maintenance. The open portfolio is continuously being expanded, for example in the areas of Bus Transportation, Logistics and Innovation/Digitisation.

In addition to open training courses, DB Rail Academy offers also tailor-made solutions from needs analysis, competence management, and individual training architectures to the implementation of training centres.
