From April, Rail Cargo Group is increasing the frequency of its services between Linz, Wels and Duisburg to four round trips a week on this continental TransFER connection. Fixed timetables and attractive transit times provide reliable and efficient transport between Austria and Germany. Furthermore, the green traction current used in Austria and Germany makes transport services on this route especially climate friendly.
This non-stop TransFER is a key connection to the group’s intermodal network and the ideal link to all of Central and Southeast Europe. With its antenna connections from Linz and Wels to Vienna and Budapest and also from Duisburg to Rotterdam Maasvlakte I and II and Rotterdam RSC as well as Antwerp and Zeebrugge via its partner connections, Rail Cargo Group facilitates efficient onward carriage across its extensive TransNET.
