The FS Group launches a new Corporate Entrepreneurship project with the aim of promoting, in a widespread manner within the company perimeter, new ways of acting and thinking in support of the constant evolution of the Group
Innovation represents for FS Italiane a strategic, cultural, technical and scientific value capable of responding quickly to changes, sometimes anticipating them. A value that is born and evolves thanks to the ideas, the passion, the desire to get involved of those who work in the company. This awareness has led the FS Group to organise initiatives aimed at the outside (projects linked to Open Innovation) and towards its employees (Innovate). To this end, FS Italiane is launching a new challenge in September: the Innovation Skill Hub, the new learning programme aimed at developing an innovative mindset among FS Group employees.
The path will be an opportunity for employees who want to get involved in a highly specialised training experience and to embark on a journey full of comparisons and opportunities. A path where, challenge after challenge, the selected will access a mindset acceleration path, at the end of which the best will have the opportunity to undertake a learning journey in the various Group companies.
The Innovation Skill Hub is a programme:
- open, because it is aimed at all Group employees;
- cross connected, which allows the comparison between participants, managers, the university world and startups;
- challenging, because it requires participants to acquire and demonstrate new skills, since challenging themselves, competing with results, winning or losing are part of being intrapreneur.
The initiative, designed in collaboration with the in-house structures of Innovation, Group Training & Learning and the Start Hub Consulting Company, will see the involvement of some of the most important Italian universities, including La Sapienza and the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
Innovation in FS Italiane
The creation of innovation processes within the company represents a strategic driver for the Group to strengthen the leadership positions acquired in the reference and business sectors. The last year saw the launch of numerous initiatives, such as: 13 Call4Ideas to select the most innovative or most interesting projects for the business, 2 Hackathons for the definition of technological innovation as a solution to a specific theme, 5 Scouting on a specific topic of interest to Group companies, in collaboration with qualified startups. In addition, 8 Challenges were activated , thematic competitions of ideas and / or projects aimed at subjects outside the Group, from which some experiments (Co-Innovation Projects) have been launched with the companies of the FS Group.
