The meeting, presided over by Chair Federica Follesa, showcased the industry’s dedication to progress and collaboration.

Ms Follesa began the meeting by highlighting the resounding success of the last Commuter and Regional Train Services (CRTS) training session held in Athens in 2023. The positive feedback underscored the industry’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in service delivery.

The key outcomes of the meeting included the establishment of the agenda for 2024, with a keen focus on critical topics shaping the future of Commuter and Regional Train Services. Discussions also confirmed the dates for the highly anticipated VII Training Session on Commuter and Regional Train Services.

The VII Training Session is scheduled to take place from 29 to 31 October 2024 and will be hosted by DSB in Copenhagen, Denmark.
