UIC was nominated for two IAM (Institute of Asset Management) Global Awards 2020 for the work on supporting the implementation of asset management in the rail sector (https://theiam.org/news/iam-global-awards-2020-the-finalists-have-been-announced/).
The winners were announced yesterday at the annual IAM conference and UIC was successful in winning both the team and project awards.
Jude Carey, from Irish Rail did all the hard work in preparing the submission for the awards and was helped by Richard Mair from the Austrian railways (ÖBB) and Donatella Fochesato from Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) having achieved certification to ISO 55001, the first national railways in the world to do so.
