On 17 and 18 June the 19th meeting of Passenger Accessibility Solutions Support and Action Group for Europe (PASSAGE) Working Group was held at the headquarters of DB Vertrieb in Frankfurt. The meeting was hosted by Ms Tanya Stötzer, Mr Rainer Hahn and Ms Ellen Engel- Kuhn, from DB. UIC was represented by Mr Luis Casado Presa, Senior Advisor within the Passenger Department.

All the representatives reported on the latest news from their companies about accessibility in the railways and several subjects were discussed during the meeting. In particular, there were discussions about the final version of Leaflet 145, and the approval by the Commercial and Distribution Forum of the new developments of the PRM Assistance Booking Tool. In addition, given the fact that the work on the leaflet is almost finished, participants also talked about new issues that could be a matter of interest for the future work of the group.

On the second day, participants went on a technical visit to Frankfurt Hauptbanhoff, the main station in Frankfurt, where improvements in the field of accessibility made by DB and the future plans for the station were shown. DB staff also gave demonstration of the booking system for PRMs.

The next meeting will take place in Paris, at UIC Headquarters, in October 2015.
