France: Céline Sibert appointed new Security Director of French Railways (SNCF)

Mrs Céline Sibert, who joined the Security Department of French Railways in 2012, was appointed new Security Director of the SNCF Group by the Presidents of SNCF Group, Mr Guillaume Pepy and Mr Patrick Jeantet. She succeeds Mr Christian Lambert who has been in charge of the Security Department since November 2015.

Céline Sibert joined SNCF in 1995 as Deputy Director of Long Distance Passenger Traffic, in charge of socio-economic issues, and then as Advisor to the Directors General Alain Poinssot (Freight) and then Guillaume Pepy (Passenger). She was then Director of the cabinet of Mr Guillaume Pepy (1999-2002), Director of External and European Affairs of the Director General France Voyages Europe (2002-2004), Director of the Crisis Management Strategies (2002-2005), before beeing appointed Secretary General of “SNCF Proximités” (2006) and then Regional Director of Transilien Paris-Nord.

In 2012 she joined the SNCF Security Department.
