The attendees came from several countries, mostly from OSJD countries.

High level experts discussed issues related to the international development of the travel documents’ sales channels. Representatives of SNCF, Trenitalia, PKP and Kazakhstan railways presented topics on international cooperation in the framework of new technologies for distribution.

Representatives of UIC Mr Marc Guigon and Mr Fabrizio Setta participated to present the UIC MERITS and PRIFIS tools for exchange timetables and tariffs.
As stated in Kolin, Mr Mikhail Akulov, Vice-President of Russian Railways and Managing Director of the Federal Passenger Company, signed the Memorandum of Understanding allowing RZD “FPC” to be a member of the MERITS-PRIFIS community. Each member railway undertaking of this community can therefore have free access to all Russian timetables and tariffs, and vice versa.
