Kazakhstan: Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) launched its branch on the basis of KazATK

During the meeting on cooperation with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT, Great Britain) at JSC NC KTZ, approval was given to the opening of the branch of the Institute on the basis of the Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications named after M. Tynyshpaev (KazATK).

“Cooperation of KazATK with CILT increases the competitiveness of future specialists in the transport services market, which will contribute to the implementation of the Company’s personnel policy,” said the president-rector of JSC KazatK B. Kuanyshev.

In the current year KazATK is accredited for the professional education under CILT programs. The opening of a branch of CILT Kazakhstan on the basis of KazATK will enable the introduction of training by the international educational programs of the British Institute.

Recruitment of students will begin on June 1. Training will be carried out by the faculty of KazATK, which has received CILT licenses, as well as teachers from the UK with competence in leading transport and logistics companies of the world, partners of the institute.

The branch offers training to young specialists, engineers, middle and senior managers to obtain professional education in the field of transport and logistics with the issuance of an international diploma.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is a professional body representing the transport and logistics industries worldwide. It is a membership based organisation with over 30,000 members in 35 countries. This international body is also known as CILT International to distinguish it from the National Councils, sections and branches.
