Project Proposals for Noise and Vibration Sector

Noise and Vibration Working Groups

The UIC Sustainable Development Unit is collecting ideas for a new opt-in project in 2022.

The new project will follow our soon to be published ‘State of the Art’ report on the topic and will build on work led by noise and vibration experts from across the UIC membership.

Background

As a follow-up of the discussions conducted during expert meetings held from 15 to 16 September 2020, the UIC Noise and Vibration Sector has decided to launch a new opt-in project in 2022 with the intention to support the continuation of a series of experts’ and core group meetings within the Sector.

The new project will allow us to continue to participate in our work with the European Commission and other key stakeholders (eg. CER & EIM) and promote well informed and effective policy and regulation on Noise and Vibration for Rail.

The UIC Noise and Vibration Sector hereby invites experts to submit their project proposals. Proposals should include the goals and expectations of the project. The following online form allows noise and vibration experts in railways to submit their idea to the UIC Sustainable Development Unit.

All proposals will be evaluated at the core group meeting in October 20.
