1994 Channel Tunnel

Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II and French President François Mitterrand inaugurated the Channel Tunnel on 6 may 1994. Inauguration Eurostar train sets left from London and Paris and made for the first time a junction in Calais.

The first trip of the Eurostar took place on 14 November 1994.
