The UIC North American region is hosting an interactive online roundtable event on 29 September.

This webinar will bring together the North American rail community on the topic of environmental sustainability and will provide an opportunity to hear about the ambitious strategy to transform the railways in the region as part of a sustainable mobility system. UIC NARA chair, Barbara Barr of the Federal Railroad Administration, will introduce the event and UIC’s Lucie Anderton, Head of Sustainability, will share her global vision for the railways. Sustainability leaders from UIC members Via Rail and AMTRAK will be amongst those presenting their innovative plans and exciting initiatives on a variety of topics, including energy efficiency and waste reduction. Join the debate and share thoughts and challenges for this agenda in the region.

The webinar will take place from 9.30 to 12.00 (US Central Time) on 29 September.
