Trenitalia SpA has just awarded CWL, associated with Wasteels within the context of a fixed-term partnership, operation of hotel services on board national and European night trains, as well as the logistics activities involved with
these services.

From February 2010, the Compagnie will accompany travellers every night in sleeper and couchette carriages on over 50 trains, notably made up of the luxurious Excelsior carriages and the new, extremely comfortable T3S carriages,
on which the compartments have a shower.

An estimated two million passengers travel on these trains annually.
This new contract is for 2 years with turnover estimated at over 90 million euros.

CWL will have almost 1,500 staff in Italy and, through its logistics activity, will be working in all main Italian railway stations.
