All players involved in rail freight and worldwide logistics systems to meet at 4th UIC Global Rail Freight Conference – “GRFC 2014” from 23 – 26 June in Vienna

Following the successful editions in Delhi (2007), Saint-Petersburg (2010) and Tangier, Morocco (2012), the 4th UIC Global Rail Freight Conference (“GRFC 2014”) will take place from 23 – 26 June in Vienna. This international event, dedicated to rail freight and multimodal perspectives, is jointly organised by UIC, the worldwide railway organisation, Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB and Rail Cargo Group with the support of the Dutch conference organiser Europoint b.v.

The conference will be held at the Hilton Stadtpark Vienna, a very convenient venue in the centre of the capital of Austria.

The central theme of the “GRFC 2014” global conference is “Seamless Transport Chains through Harmonisation – Success Stories and Global Perspectives for Rail Freight”.
It will offer a key opportunity to address all the strategic issues of rail freight development focusing on the management and harmonisation framework, new products and international partnerships, international corridors, multimodal cooperation, new technological trends, etc.

The 4th UIC Global Rail Freight Conference “GRFC 2014” is supported by a number of international institutions or partner associations:
