On 11 November 2025, the Minister of Transport of the Slovak Republic appointed a new Board of Directors (BoD) for the Railway Company of Slovakia (ZSSK).
Ms Ivana Piňosová became the new Chair of the Board of Directors and General Director (CEO), replacing Mr Peter Helexa.
Ms Piňosová was born in 1963. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Finance, Bratislava University of Economics and Business in 1987.
In the past, she has held several important roles in both the private and public sector, mainly working in the finance, mail, railway and road transport sectors, for companies including ZSSK CARGO, Slovak Post and Slovak Road Administration.
The two other members of the BoD are:
- Mr Rastislav Glasa, Vice-Chair of the BoD, Head of Strategy and EU Funds Department
- Mr Miroslav Klich, Member of the BoD, Head of Maintenance and Repairs Department
