Energy and Electric Traction WG (E&ET)
The Energy and Electric Traction Expert Group deals with energy management in collaboration with the IEC. Its tasks include:
- ensuring energy supply by specifying digital control of substations and links with energy suppliers,
- designing and maintaining catenary components,
- reducing energy consumption by using reversible substations and introducing new eco-fuels (LPG, hydrogen, etc.).
