Save the date: UIC R&I Talks Webinar introducing WCRR 2025

UIC and MxV Rail are delighted to announce that the 14th World Congress on Railway Research (WCRR 2025) will be held on 17-21 November in Colorado Springs, USA. To introduce the event and explain how different organisations can participate, two webinars are being hosted on 25 July 2024 at 10:00-12:00 and 16:00-18:00.

Held every three years, WCRR is the world’s largest international congress on railway research, providing the best forum to bring together the researchers, technical experts and industry leaders championing innovation. The WCRR 2025 organising committee has also launched a call for papers to address the 2025 theme “Innovative and resilient railways”’.

In 2025, for the first time, WCRR will be hosted in tandem with the International Heavy Haul Association (IHHA) Conference. MxV Rail will be bringing together leading freight and passenger rail experts from around the world to share their view on the challenges that rail is currently facing and will face in the future, this unique and historic partnership will be celebrated as part of Rail Research Week.

Call for abstracts
