The 7th edition of the UIC World Congress on Rail Training (WCRT) will take place at the Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, China, from 9 to 11 April 2025.
The WCRT is a major event for academic and rail training institutions, offering a unique platform for railway companies, human resources and training departments, as well as academic, professional, and training organisations, to meet and discuss current challenges and developments in their domain.
Organised by the UIC Expertise Development Platform, the congress draws on the expertise of the regional Railway Training Centres Network. Its primary objective is to further workforce development by sharing best practices in rail training across the global industry.
