Effective from 1 February 2026, Tomáš Tóth has been authorised by the Supervisory Board to manage Správa železnic, státní organizace (SZCZ), the Czech infrastructure manager.

Tóth graduated from the Faculty of Transport Engineering at the University of Pardubice with a Master’s degree in Transport Management, Marketing, and Logistics. He began his railway career with České dráhy, the state railway undertaking, in 2006. He was a part of the team responsible for supply chains during the establishment process of the joint-stock company ČD Cargo, a major Czech railway freight carrier. Followingly, he worked at ČD Cargo as an IT Project Manager. From 2012 to 2013, he held the position of the Director of the Implementation Department at ČD.

In September 2013, he became Director of the Economics and Financial Management Department at ČD Cargo. From April 2018, he served there as the Executive Director. From December 2020 to October 2025, he held the position of the Chair of the Management Board at ČD Cargo.
