Available in both English and French, these two-day modules are designed for railway professionals aiming to strengthen their knowledge of human and organisational factors and safety culture.
The first training module, scheduled for 22–23 September 2025, will focus on human and organisational factors in safety management.
Training course objectives:
- Cover the main topics within the scope of human and organisational factors in safety management
- Highlight the skills needed to implement human and organisational factors within a company
- Nurture leadership skills in managing human and organisational factors in safety management
Key outcomes for participants:
- Acquire important knowledge of how to manage human and organisational factors
- Determine and apply human and organisational factors to enhance operational safety performance
- Understand the mechanisms that lead to safety events, both positive and negative
- Learn to adapt practices within a company
The second training module, scheduled for 24–25 September 2025, will focus on safety culture.
Training course objectives:
- Demonstrate the importance of a safety culture for an organisation
- Emphasise and elucidate the attributes of a strong safety culture
- Contribute to developing a safety culture in participants’ organisations
Key outcomes for participants:
- Improve the ability to identify and understand what influences behaviours and habits
- Evolve leadership and management skills to make safety culture a lever for an organisation’s overall performance
- Gain a new perspective on how to build a successful safety culture
Both modules are aimed at executives, managers, engineers, and safety professionals.
