The Innovation Workshops of the UIC Passenger Services Group explore emerging industry and technology trends and their impact on the rail sector. Each workshop combines insights from experts, interactive sessions, and hands on creation activities, supported by digital collaboration tools.
The next workshop will discuss the topic “From mass to one-to-one in rail: real-time hyper-personalised information and offers”, and will take place on 28 October 2026, from 9:00 to 15:30 at the UIC Headquarters in Paris and online. Personalisation has never mattered more to travellers. With expectations set by the digital services they use every day, passengers wish to be treated as individuals rather than as part of a group. This includes tailored recommendations, contextual offers, and proactive assistance, provided exactly when the need arises. Meeting that expectation requires railways to move beyond traditional customer segmentation.
Join us to discover how traveller behaviour is evolving and which technologies and best practices make a new level of personalised experience possible, through concrete use cases at every stage of the rail passenger journey (pre-trip, in-trip and post-trip).
