A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP/EAP) in marketing and communications, and holder of a Specialized Masters in Media Management and Journalism, Vincent Vu (42) joined SNCF in 1991, where his work included research on customer loyalty programmes and, subsequently, the definition of yield management functionalities.
His most recent position before joining UIC was Chief-of-Staff and Head of Institutional Relations at SNCF International.
Amongst his major achievements at SNCF, he was a key player in the introduction of an optimized SNCF commercial strategy, the roll-out of new distribution channels for mainline services, achieving ISO quality and NF services certification at Transilien, and the introduction of new rolling stock and clockface timings at Paris Montparnasse.
He has a strong interest in Japan, and founded one of France’s first magazines dedicated to Japanese audio-visual culture.
