Attica Group (Superfast Ferries and Blue Star Ferries), a UIC Member, announced the delivery of the second new-built Ro-Pax vessel Superfast II, from Grimaldi Holding S.p.A of Genoa.

Superfast II has a speed of 24 knots and the capacity to carry 950 passengers, 170 freight units and 100 private vehicles. Superfast II is the 14th vessel of the Group serving 35 ports in Greece and Italy. It is deployed in the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Bari route as from 6 October 2009 (source: Attica Group).
