As part of the 18th edition of the CineRail International Festival ‘Train & Metro on Rail’ (2-9 March 2010 in Paris), the Corporate Film Days are scheduled to take place from 4-5 March at UIC Headquarters.
These two Corporate Film Days (‘Professional Days’) will provide a unique opportunity for representatives of UIC member railways and public transport companies as well as for professionals from the communications field to view the latest audiovisual productions carried out on behalf of railway companies, and to discuss the role of audiovisuals in the communications system.
Screenings will include corporate communications films of railway and public transport companies, commercials and TV spots, documentaries as well as internal communications films produced for staff education and training purposes (safety, security, etc.). Diego Marti from Swiss Railways SBB Public Relations Department and Chairman of UIC Audiovisual Group will introduce the films, including their background and objectives, as they are screened.
The deadline for railway corporate films registrations is coming up! Do not miss this opportunity to register you latest film productions!
The UIC member railways have expressed a particular interest in films and multimedia dealing with following issues:
– Safety (including safety at level-crossings and campaigns targeted at young people) and security (training) issues
– Communications campaigns on sustainability, railways and ecology, climate change
– Crisis communications and management of exceptional events (sports, cultural events, etc.), and sharing experiences, etc.
