Grand Est Restauration, the French subsidiary of Compagnie des Wagons-Lits (CWL), a UIC Member, has just won the tender issued by SNCF to operate catering and on-board services for TGV Est and TGV Alleo bound for Germany. The new contract will start on 1st July 2010 and is set to run for two years.
The catering offer to be proposed on board TGV Est and Alleo will be based on culinary concepts and trends that are both original and simple, in step with consumer expectations and requirements and with the National Nutrition and Health Programme, whilst playing the local production card. New services and occasional promotions will brighten up journeys –in the bar carriage or at seats- thus allowing passengers to benefit from a complete services and catering offer (source: CWL).
