The 2011 International Heavy Haul Association (IHHA) Conference will take place from 19 – 22 June 2011 at the Westin Hotel in Calgary, Canada.

The main theme is “Railroading in Extreme Conditions”. Technical sessions will cover a broad range of topics in railway operations and technology.

The organisers are happy to announce that the deadline for abstract submission for the conference has been extended to 29 July. Authors are invited to submit an abstract in English to be considered for an oral or poster presentation at the conference.
