On 24 June, the assembly of the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS SpA) shareholders was held in Rome to renew the governing bodies. During this meeting, the shareholders appointed a new Chairman of the FS Board, Professor Lamberto Cardia, who succeeds Professor Innocenzo Cippoletta in this mandate. The assembly expressed sincere thanks to Professor Cippoletta for his boundless commitment and the significant results he obtained during his mandate at the head of the Board of the Italian Railways group.

During the same meeting, FS shareholders assembly confirmed Eng. Mauro Moretti in his position as the Amministratore Delegato (CEO) of Italian Railways group FS SpA.
