The Minister of Transport, Posts and Telecommunications of the Slovak Republic has appointed Mr. Pavol Ďuriník to the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZSSK CARGO on September 15, 2010.

Mr. Pavol Ďuriník finished his studies in 1984 on the University of Transport and Communications in Žilina (today the University of Žilina), where he worked as an assistant professor until 1990. During 1991 – 2008 he worked in several financial institutions. During 2008 – 2010 he acted as executive director in consulting firm.
He is a member of the Academic council of the University of Žilina.
