First World Congress on Rail Training “From strategy to performance”

The First World Congress on Rail Training, organised at the initiative of the UIC Expertise Development Platform, will take place in Madrid at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales, from 6-8 April 2011.

The Congress is targeted at human resources managers, training and workforce development experts and training executives.
The aims of the congress are to:

  • Promote excellence in railway training through current best practice models;
  • Highlight rail research findings which bring innovation in railway training; development and competence and have practical application to the industry;
  • Identify new challenges for training and training technologies;
  • Provide a unique opportunity to share knowledge and experience amongst; training professionals and senior managers from all over the world.

A panel of experts/practitioners from across Europe, Turkey, Asia and the United States has been selected to present best practice in their respective fields.
