On 7 February at Cologne Bonn airport, TUIfly christened two of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which have been kitted out in the Deutsche Bahn colours. The aircraft painted with the ICE livery wears the lettering “DB Air One” whilst the other in the red DB Regio colours has been dubbed “DB Air Two”. These aircraft will fly for three years in the DB colours and will transport TUIfly passengers to destinations around the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde.

Last year, 2.4 million passengers used a “Rail&Fly” ticket or equivalent.
