Following the success of the previous editions in Rome and Paris, “Next Station”, the 3rd international conference on railway stations to be held on 17-18 March in Brussels, remains an essential global benchmark on all strategic issues connected to the development and management of railway stations.
This year’s edition, which will provide the opportunity to share information, standards and best practice, will draw on both the participation of players from the railway world – in particular UIC member railway companies and infrastructure managers – as well as players from the supply industry or with a close link to the station sector.
Among the themes to be explored, particular focus will be placed on the station of the future, notably through new technologies for customers and the challenges of railway liberalisation. Intermodality, project development and financing, as well as the accessibility of railway stations and rail services also feature among the main issues to be addressed.
Registration for this conference is still open online until 11 March at www.nextstation2011.com
