ERRAC Newsletter, a new issue just published

ERRAC – the European Rail Research Advisory Council – issued today in connection with its plenary meeting a new ERRAC Newsletter.

The Newsletter contains:

  • An introduction by ERRAC’s chairman Prof. Andrew McNaughton
  • A report on the SKILLRAIL – ERRAC Joint Workshop on Training and Education activities in transversal and interdisciplinary areas such as environment, safety and security, and competitiveness of transport
  • Work package updates:
    • WP01: Greening of rail transport
    • WP02: Encouraging modal shift
    • WP03: Ensuring sustainable (sub) urban transport
    • WP04: Improving Safety and Security
    • WP05: Strengthening competitiveness
    • WP06: Evaluation work package
