European high speed train operator Thalys was an official partner in the world premiere of the film “Tintin and the Secret of the Unicorn”, held on 22 October in Brussels. Directed by American film-maker Steven Spielberg, the film is based on one of the famous comic strip albums created by the late Belgian cartoonist Hergé. The film was released yesterday (26 October) in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.
On 22 October, director Steven Spielberg, producer Kathleen Kennedy and actors Jamie Bell and Gad Elmaleh, among others, arrived in Paris on board a Thalys train liveried especially for the film’s release. On this occasion, Steven Spielberg autographed the train’s power car, which was decorated with a picture of Tintin.
