The 7th UIC/FS World Congress on Railway Security, held in Rome from 21 – 23 September 2011, was a great success with over 200 participants from 22 different countries. The major players involved in rail and transport security issues – such as railway security managers, representatives of international organisations, the rail supply industry, and universities and research bodies – participated in the various sessions covering political and current topics including issues of metal theft, security in large railway stations, new technologies and research projects.
The Congress’ CD with the presentations is now available on the security web page.
