The 2nd UIC World High Speed Interaction Workshop specialising in the maintenance of High Speed Rail Systems (HSRS) will take place in Taipei from 18 to 20 April 2012. This workshop will be a special opportunity for HSR operators and infrastructure managers to exchange experience and best practice on the maintenance of HSR systems (V˃or=250km/h) as well as for future and potential HSR operators and infrastructure managers to learn alongside their more experienced counterparts.

Experts in HSR system maintenance from around the world will have a special chance to meet and exchange best practice on all aspects of maintenance activities during the two days of technical sessions followed by a day’s technical visit of HSR maintenance facilities.

Technical presentations on the performance and management of HSR sub-system maintenance (rolling stock, civil works, permanent way, signalling and communications) will be presented, as well maintenance support activities, and will be followed by fruitful discussions enabling benchmarking as well as best practice to be shared.

We look forward to seeing you in Taipei from 18 to 20 April 2012.
