INESS training meeting (Paris, 7-9 March 2012)

From 7 – 9 March 2012, an INESS training meeting was held at UIC Headquarters in Paris. This three-day training was not a training session in the traditional sense, but provided an overview of the achievements of INESS as a whole and of each of the Work Streams.

Several of the sessions also included workshops in which the actual application of the products generated was demonstrated. Each of the sessions concluded with a lively and in-depth discussion, where no questions remained unanswered.

The meeting was attended by 102 participants from 22 countries, with the majority from Europe as well as people from Canada, Iran, Korea, China, Russia, India and Japan. There was a strong participant turnout over the course of the three days. Fortunately, the feedback given by several of the participants was very positive – all in all a good way to finish the INESS project.
