UIC intends to organise the 2nd international drawing contest for children on safety at level crossings on the occasion of the International Level Crossing Awareness Day (ILCAD), scheduled for 7 June 2012.

The competition is open to all children (including those of UIC HQ colleagues and the staff of UIC members) in the following age groups: 4-7, 8-12.

While the drawings are supposed to be done by hand, we would appreciate it if entries were scanned and sent by a high resolution file using this link:
http://www.ilcad.org/Kids-Corner,149.html

(please note: there is one form per age group)

Deadline for sending drawings: 10 May 2012

The assessment of all entries will take place in Paris and the best drawings will be announced by the end of May 2012. The best drawings will be awarded a prize that will be communicated at a later date.

The winning drawings will be uploaded to the ILCAD website www.ilcad.org in advance of the international campaign date of 7 June and used during the campaign or level crossing events.
