On 9 May Czech Railways (CD) unveiled the first locomotive to promote the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship. The locomotive will be used for the EC 111 EuroCity train from Prague to Warsaw, where it will regularly run on the section between Prague and Bohumin. On 3 June there will be an official launch onboard with the Czech football team.

The other locomotive – type 163 with EURO 2012 livery – will run from next weekend between Pardubice and Wroclaw via Lichkov.
