On 26 October, all railway noise and vibration experts are invited to participate in the mid-term conference of the RIVAS project.

This event will be the opportunity to discover the results achieved by the project over the last 18 months, including the effect of trenches and other soil stiffening systems, design studies carried out to improve tracks and rolling stock for the purpose of reducing ground vibrations.

Moreover computer simulations developed to examine how vibrations are emitted and transmitted in the ground will be presented.
