Bilateral agreement on rail links strengthens good relations between Germany and Poland

On 14 November, German Federal Minister of Transport Dr Peter Ramsauer and his Polish counterpart Slawomir Nowak signed a bilateral agreement between the two countries, pledging to facilitate cross-border rail traffic. The international agreement had been previously approved by the European Commission.

According to Peter Ramsauer, “attractive railway links will strengthen the current good relations between Germany and Poland. Our agreement marks a significant milestone to improve rail links between our two countries.”
