Following the retirement of Jean-Pierre Lehman, Director for Human Resources and Social Relations as well as for Legal Affairs at UIC Headquarters at the end of 2012, Director General Jean-Pierre Loubinoux has decided to split these two fields of responsibility and to appoint respectively:
– Mrs Mélanie Gonzalez, Lawyer, who joined the UIC HR Department in December 2008, as new Deputy Director in charge of Human Resources and (Social) Labour Relations at UIC Headquarters. Mélanie Gonzalez will join the UIC Board of Directors (Codir) and contribute to further improvement and consolidation of UIC management through increased professionalism and effectiveness at work,
– Mrs Emmanuelle Nedjar, Lawyer, as Senior Advisor for Legal Affairs. She joined the UIC Legal Department in 2003. She will be in charge of all issues relating to Business Law (contracts, agreements, memoranda of understanding signed between UIC and a large number of institutions and partners etc.) and International Rail Transport Law. She will work in close cooperation with international organisations and will be supported by the UIC Legal Group chaired by Mrs Marie-Ghislaine Hénuset, Chief Legal Advisor at Belgian Railways SNCB.
