Mr Valentin Dorobanţu is the new General Director of CFR Calatori – the national railway passenger transport operator in Romania.

Mr Dorobanţu is a graduate of the Polytechnics University in Bucharest (Faculty of Transport) and has an MA in “Transport Logistics”. He is also a graduate of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (Faculty of Trade).

Since his graduation, Mr Dorobanţu has held various positions within CFR Calatori in the field of operations and since June 2007, he has been Operational Manager and Deputy General Director within the same company.

UIC warmly congratulates Mr Dorobanţu on his appointment.
