Martin Stutz is to take over as SBB’s new chief press officer from 1 May 2013. Stutz, 49, has wide-ranging experience as a journalist and has held various leading roles in the communications sector. He is currently head of internal and external communications at energy company Alpiq.

Christoph Rytz will continue as interim manager of SBB’s press office until Martin Stutz commences work in May. Rytz will then resume his duties as SBB Cargo’s head of communications in Basel. SBB’s press office is part of the Communications and Public Affairs Department and has branches in Bellinzona, Lausanne and Zurich.
