The railway exhibition in Turkey, Eurasia Rail: Rolling Stock, Infrastructure & Logistics Exhibition, in cooperation with Turkish State Railways (TCDD), will open its doors to rolling stock professionals for the 3rd time from 7 – 9 March 2013 at Istanbul Expo Centre in Istanbul, Turkey with concurrent conferences and seminars.
The inauguration of the event is expected to be conducted by the Turkish Minister of Transport, Communications and Maritime Affairs together with the Spanish Minister of Transport.

The exhibition, which hosted 188 exhibitors at the 2012 edition, will increase its gross exhibition space by 40% up to 17,000 m2. Some of the confirmed industry giants at the exhibition are SIEMENS, ALSTOM, BOMBARDIER, VOSSLOH, THALES, CAF, TALGO, KNORR BREMSE, WEBASTO, VOITH TURBO, SAVRONIK, KARDEMİR, GENERAL ELECTRIC TRANSPORTATION, HYUNDAI ROTEM, ABB and as the official exhibitors and supporters of the exhibition TCDD, together with its subsidiaries TÜVASAŞ (Turkish Wagon Industry Inc.), TÜLOMSAŞ (Turkish Locomotives & Wagon Industry Inc.), TÜDEMSAŞ (Turkish Railway Machines Industry Inc.) and Istanbul Ulaşım A.Ş.
“İpekböceği” (Silkworm), a 100% domestically produced Turkish light-rail vehicle, which was produced by Durmazlar and introduced last year for the first time, will take its place at the exhibition. The passenger coaches produced by Hyundai Rotem and to be used in the MARMARAY project will also be exhibited at this event for the first time. Siemens will place its “REcube (a specially designed vehicle for electrification and signalling solutions) at the exhibition.
The event will also witness a high turnout of visitors from the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, South Africa, Iran, Iraq, Spain, Romania, Greece, Turkmenistan, the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, Serbia, Italy, Belgium, France, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and China.
The “UFI* approved event” expects more than 280 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors.
