As in previous years, the UIC Passenger & High Speed Department is preparing the 9th Training Session on High Speed Systems which will take place in Paris from 3 – 7 June 2013.

If you are interested in acquiring a comprehensive overview of the high speed system or if you are a manager in decision-making positions in the transport sector in general, and in the railways in particular, the seminar can:

  • Provide you with an accurate and comprehensive overview of high speed systems
  • Provide you with all the information needed to facilitate decision-making on the subject of high speed rail
  • Foster exchanges of experience and information about the latest developments in the field
  • Give experts a global vision of particular aspects of the high speed rail system

Seminar participants need not have in-depth knowledge of any specific subject relating to high speed systems. Attendance at ALL sessions is therefore mandatory.

Speakers are all experts in the subjects addressed and are drawn mainly from railways, universities and industry. They represent all the countries and world regions with experience in the field of high speed rail systems.

The training session will be held in English. However, other languages could be envisaged if enough participants of the some language are registered.

The registration fee is €1,500 including tax. This fee comprises the training session, working materials, as well as technical visits and lunches. Travel to and from Paris and accommodation costs are not included.
